About Angela Hayes

Angela Hayes, MS, LPC, NCC, is a clinical mental health counselor, she provides counseling services for individuals, adolescents, couples and family. She received her Bachelor’s Degree of Arts with a major in English and minor in business communication from The University of Montevallo. She obtained her Masters of Science Degree from Capella University with a specialization in mental health counseling. Recently, she received a Certificate in couples and family therapy.  She has extensive experience in many different client populations including inpatient hospital settings.God placed in her heart in 2010 the desire to be a counselor. She believes her calling is to help people heal from the various challenges that life can bring on a daily basis. Her practice provides a safe and non-threatening environment for clients to seeking counseling.

Her goal is to make counseling more accessible.  “Helping people heal because it’s possible is her vision statement for her practice. She believes people can survive the hurdles and traumas of life with support, empathy, non-judgment and quality interventions. As a result, these factors will help the client, family or marriages to begin to heal.

Services

Welcome to the Angela Hayes Counseling! Our services include individual counseling, marriage and couples and family counseling. The session rates are based on income and range from $50 to $75 a session. Angela Hayes also accepts Blue Cross and Blue Shield Insurance. Each session is 55 minutes to one hour in length. Scheduling appointments are very flexible and include evening and Sunday afternoon appointments. Phone and Skype sessions are also available.

Other Therapies

Services also include anger management, stress management, evaluations for clients to have an emotional support animal and mental health assessments.

Public Speaking

Angela is also available for speaking events on the various mental health topics. She has led Parent Awareness seminars on conflict resolution with your adolescent, anxiety and teen drama. She has also spoken at Women’s conferences on the different mental health topics.
